AI Hands

I am passionate about exploring the limits of AI systems and discovering new ways to manipulate and exploit them. In this project, I experiment with AI prompts to generate images of hands, exploring how these systems understand and represent the human form. Of course, there is obvious bias in terms of skin tone (amongst other things) inherent within the system - I like to expose flaws such as this. At present many AI systems struggle with representing hands accurately, and I take advantage of this limitation to create surreal and intriguing images. Some of these hands may have more or less than the traditional five fingers, but it is this departure from the expected form that makes them captivating.
